It’s spring. Ada is 19. She has her whole life ahead of her.
She accepts a dinner invitation at the home of a man she knows. Everything transpires quickly. She doesn’t defend herself. Her genitals are torn apart; her soul is scattered.
In this same week, she encounters the man two more times.
The month of May and its concomitant memories come around 10 more times before she realizes that it was a crime.
Here, a cast of characters represents Ada. Each enacts another episode in this common yet unbearable story.
