For more than a century, workers from all over the world flocked to the Hutchinson factory in the Loiret department. They built homes where personal destinies were shaped, and people learnt to fit in, growing stronger in the process. These workers, who are aware of the extreme precariousness of  the French industry, tell their stories of this place of toil, of suffering and of struggle, but also of caring for one another.
